A Lowlander White a Lowlander Botanical Beer amszterdami főzde wit bier söre, szigorúan a klímaváltozás elleni küzdelem jegyében... (Ismét kislányom ajándéka Hollandiából.)
"Botanikusan főzött" witbier sör tehát (alkoholra 5%), a belga/holland módi szerint curaçaói naranccsal, s ezen kívül bodzavirággal és kamillával főszerezve. A kamillát szerencsére nem nagyon éreztem, inkább frissítő és ropogós volt, gyümölcsös és némi virágos lecsengéssel, enyhén savanykás ízvilággal. Az elején, amikor kibontottam, éreztem némi fémes illatot, mintha sokáig állt volna a dobozban...
A főzőket nagyon aggasztja a sarki jég olvadásának üteme, így minden eladásuk 1%-át klímavédelmi akciókra fordítják, "a jegesmedvék és élőhelyük védelmére.". Nemes cél...

Lowlander White is a witbier beer from the Amsterdam brewery Lowlander Botanical Beer, strictly in the spirit of fighting climate change... (Again, a gift from my daughter from the Netherlands.)
A "botanically brewed" witbier beer (5% alcohol), brewed in the Belgian/Dutch style with orange curaçao, and also elderflower and chamomile. Fortunately, I didn't really feel the chamomile, it was more refreshing and crisp, with a fruity and slightly floral aftertaste, and a slightly sour taste. At first, when I opened it, I smelled a bit of a metallic smell, as if it had been sitting in the can for a long time...
The brewers are very concerned about the rate of melting of the polar ice, so they are devoting 1% of all their sales to climate protection campaigns, "to protect polar bears and their habitat." A noble cause...
